I just got out of a meeting, checked my emails & found this waiting for me. It’s from one of the guys here at work.

And for one of the first times in the past fortnight I felt a slight glimmer of positivity & hope. It has faded now, but it was there when I first read this, & it may not seem like much, but surely I can take some comfort in the fact that even though i’m absolutely heartbroken, there’s still some optimism hidden inside of me.

Also I must say for a guy he certainly has a way with words (or choosing the perfect quote). It’s perhaps one of the sweetest most thoughtful emails I have ever received, from a guy i’m not dating that is.
